Description

We present natural Rose Centifolia hydrolate for perfumery, whose plant belongs to the species Rosa centifolia Rose Provence natural hydrolate for perfumery is its name outside the country. The flower petals form the part used of the hundred-petaled rose from the Bulgarian field. The epidermal layers of the petals release the volatile substances, since glandular hairs are completely absent from their surface in this species. Steam distillation of fresh flowers is based on an established local practice and therefore preserves the entire aromatic profile of the flower raw material. The color lies between colorless and light pink. The liquid form does not change. The aroma manifests itself in the air with a strong degree of expression. Longevity and the refreshing side go hand in hand with the strength of the scent. The order Rosaceae classifies the plant, and the Bulgarian fields bear its natural plantations throughout the entire flowering season. Added preservatives and added colorants are not part of the final composition of the product. Among the substances in the aqueous phase are phenylethyl alcohol and geraniol, and next to them citronellol and nerol. The ratio between these substances explains the strength of the scent of the Rose Centifolia hydrolate, and the aqueous base distributes it evenly throughout the entire volume of the liquid. The light pink tint derives from the pigments in the petal tissue of the flower itself and remains unchanged throughout the entire volume of the distillate. The fresh flower sets the density of the aromatic phase, while the extraction method preserves its original composition throughout the finished rose liquid. The final liquid brings together the natural regime, the petal raw material and the strong long-lasting aroma of this product.
